Our Story: Training Built on Personal Transformation

The Trusted Companion didn't start in a classroom. It started with two dogs named Reggie and Manny.

Our founder, Brant Weller, loved his rescue dogs deeply, but without realizing it, he loved them in a way that fed their anxiety. That anxiety turned into serious aggression toward other dogs. Instead of giving up, Brant made it his mission to help them. He trained professionally, traveled the country, learning from some of the best in the field, and eventually earned his certification as a Training Without Conflict® trainer with two-time World Champion Ivan Balabanov.

Today, Reggie and Manny live happy, confident lives. That journey is why we train the way we do: with patience, understanding, and zero judgment.
